Scam hotel to avoid at all costs

We paid over 150 euros. The room was small, the bed too small and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small. The decoration was horrible. Through the window, the view is of a macabre wall. The cleaning of the room is mediocre. This hotel is a rip-off whatever room level you choose.

A very basic hotel nothing special but excellent location. It reminds me of a nice youth Hostel. Check-in took a long time and room card stopped working half way through staying. The room was meant to be 4 Star more like 2 star but it did the job.

I enjoyed my 2nd stay in this hotel. The first one was last 2018. The staff are friendly esp Damien. He was very jolly. I also liked that the hotel accommodated my request on not booking me in the dark room as I don't like dark walls. So I was given a larger room on the 3rd floor with a window and big bed. It was quirky for my taste but no complaints as it was spacious and the bed was ultra comfy. The hotel is located near the Amsterdam Centraal and is walking distance to many tourists attractions.

Just back from a 3 night stay and cant fault it, we went for a deluxe room and yeah they are small but you soon realize that's the way of life when you are situated in the city center, perfect location for everything and that's key in Amsterdam,5 min walk from central station,5 min walk to Dam square,25 min walk to Heineken and 5 min walk to red light district, location is key, our room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, room cleaned every day, fresh towels daily and room was lovely and warm. Reception very friendly and obliging ,check out is 11am and there's no messing with that time as they will ring the room, which is fair as that's the policy. We had a 4th floor room over main street and apart from a police car we heard very little noise. No problem holding onto luggage after check out as it so centrally located and so easy to pop back when time to head to airport. Would easily recommend to friends.

Rooms are crammed / not clean and hygienic - one can do better at this price point. The lighting switches are not intuitive and the noise from the streets make it difficult to sleep. In addition, to the general challenges from the stay itself, the management is not fair and ethical.
